Andorra

This neighborhood is part of Roxborough and was initially part of the Roxborough Township, being just next to Montgomery County. The Wissahickon Creek is very close in case you are planning a hiking trip in the nature, it is worth a visit.

East Falls

This neighborhood is northwest of Allegheny West, southwest of Germantown and east of Wissahickon. Lincoln Drive and Rossevelt Expressway are two of the borders of this area. This neighborhood has two train stations.

Wissahickon

This is one of the smaller neighborhoods of Roxborough-Manayunk, just west of the Wissahickon Creek and north of the Schuylkill River. There are many important landmarks which are worth to visit here, like the 100 steps, the Holt House or the Merrick Hall. The ZIP code of this neighborhood is 19128.

Roxborough

Roxborough is one of the larger neighborhoods of Philadelphia from a geographical perspective, but the population is only around 30,000. Formerly it was part of Foxborough township, but then it has merged with Philadelphia in 1854. Valley Green Inn is also located here, which is one of the last roadhouses in the state.

Manayunk

The local ZIP code of Manayunk is 19127 if you want to send a postcard to a relative of your who is living here. The estimated population of this area is around 10,000. Green Lane and Manayunk Avenue are the borders separating it from Roxborough.

To start off, first you should visit the Cathedral Village at 600 East Cathedral Road, and then drive southeast to get to Meineke Car Care Center at 7600 Ridge Avenue.

If you want to do some shopping, the perfect place for it is ShopRite of Roxborough at 6901 Ridge Avenue. 

If you want to relax in a very nice environment, nothing beats Gorgas Park at 6300 Ridge Avenue in this neighborhood. Just drive southeast on Ridge Avenue. 

But you also have to try probably the best ice cream of this section! You can find it at C & C CREAMERY at 5461 Ridge Avenue. 

The last stop in this neighborhood will be Lucky’s Last Chance- Manayunk at 4421 Main Street in case you want to enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage. 

To finish this trip, now it is time to head back west to Olney-Oak Lane.
